Spring Tables: Blogger Tour

Spring is here and it’s the perfect opportunity to add color and life to your everyday table.  I’ve teamed up with some bloggers to show you many Spring Table ideas.  You can hop from one table idea to the next for many inspiring ideas.  You will find lots of tulips, Easter themes, minimalist tables, and tables full of decor.  There is something for everyone!  Check out the list of other bloggers at the bottom of the post.

Some of you may have found your way here from Angie at Postcards From the Ridge, thank you for stopping by!  Angie created a beautiful, natural, rustic tablescape complete with wooden chargers, mason jars, and boxwood wreaths.

When you are finished with my tour hop over to My Life From Home to see what her Spring Table looks like.

I created a minimalist Spring Table that can be used everyday and is kid friendly.  I really wanted a table that said spring but worked with our everyday lifestyle.  We often have friends over for lunch or dinner, which means lots of kids, and we typically eat by serve yourself style.  Therefore, my Spring Table has plates and silverware ready to be used and all the decor in the middle of the table.

The eucalyptus, hydrangeas, and tulips are from Trader Joe’s which is my go to shop for table greenery.  Buying greenery while grocery shopping makes it easy for me to replace flowers to keep my table always looking fresh.

As you can see I did not use a runner for my Spring Table but made it easy to add one for special occasions.  Just slide the vases and candlesticks to the side, add the runner, and replace everything onto the runner.  Easy!  But, I did add height and dimension to my tablescape by using two white cake pedestals.  The small cake pedestal is from Target and the large cake pedestal is from HomeGoods.

My white dishes are from Pampered Chef and my favorite thing about them is that they are everyday plates along with being beautiful.  My clear glass candlesticks are from IKEA, white napkins are from Target, and wood cutting board is from HomeGoods.

For more information about our dining table and chairs check out this post and see what other chairs I was deciding between.

I hope my minimalist Spring Table has inspired you to set a table that can be used, freshened, and added to all spring long!

  1. Jan, I love Trader Joe’s for flowers too. White hydrangeas are my favorites but they didn’t have any at mine this week. I like how you kept the eucalyptus, tulips and hydrangeas separate but grouped together. And your light over your table!! Love it!! Such a great space to hang out with your family and friends.
